WHAT IS NOVOTHOR®?

Whole-body red & near-infrared light therapy

NovoTHOR® is a medical-grade photobiomodulation system using 660nm red light and 850nm near-infrared light.

Also known as PBM or red light therapy, photobiomodulation uses specific wavelengths of light that interact with cellular processes, including those involved in mitochondrial function and ATP production.

The Vitality Lab is home to medical-grade NovoTHOR® whole-body red light therapy, chosen for its advanced technology, full-body design and ability to deliver an immersive experience.

Located privately just outside Taupō, every session is by appointment, giving you dedicated time to slow down, switch off and invest in your wellbeing.

meet the founder, louise

A personal journey through movement, recovery and photobiomodulation that led Louise to bring medical-grade NovoTHOR® to Taupō.

Health and wellbeing have been part of my life for more than 20 years, beginning with yoga and more recently expanding into strength training and a deeper interest in staying strong, active and healthy as we age. My own experience with photobiomodulation ultimately led me to bring medical-grade NovoTHOR® to Taupō and create The Vitality Lab, with the hope of helping people invest proactively in their wellbeing, recover well and keep doing the things they love for longer.
