WHAT IS NOVOTHOR®?

NovoTHOR® is a medical-grade whole-body photobiomodulation system using specific wavelengths of red and near-infrared light.

Photobiomodulation, or PBM, is commonly known as red light therapy or LED therapy, although PBM is the more accurate term because the technology uses both visible red and invisible near-infrared light.

PBM uses carefully selected wavelengths of red and near-infrared light to support the body’s natural cellular processes. At a cellular level, these wavelengths interact with mitochondrial processes involved in the production of ATP (adenosine triphosphate) the primary energy currency of living cells, acting as a rechargeable battery that powers immediate cellular work.
